Weather Bulgaria has a continental climate with long hot summers and cold
winters.
Exchanging Money The local currency is the lev, which is divided up into 100 stotinki.
Please be aware of people on the street offering you to change
money at a good rate, they are trying to give you worthless old
lev.
Please also be aware of some exchange booths that you will see
around the resort. They appear to offer a good rate without any
commission; however you would only receive half the amount that
you were expecting!
Useful Tips Don’t exchange your money anywhere else other than at either the ‘CROWN
EXCHANGE’, high street bank or on-site at Panorama Fort Beach.
Cash or Traveller cheques are accepted at either.
For a quick exchange rate conversion, just divide the amount of
Bulgarian lev by 3. E.g. 15 levs = approx £5.00 (This changes
on a daily basis)

Car Hire The best way to get out and about is to hire a car. You can do
this by booking the car prior to your departure so that it is
ready for you at the airport or you can hire a car from one of
the many hire shops in both St. Vlas or Sunny Beach.

Taxis Taxis can be found all over the resort and there are numerous
taxis that stop at Panorama Fort Beach for convenience. However
