St. Vlas
St. Vlas is a beautiful coastal village situated just 5 kilometres
north of Sunny Beach and 9 kilometres from the ancient town of
Nessebar – this town can be seen across the bay from the apartment.
The village has been developed into a modern beach destination
during recent years, with brand new hotels and tourist infrastructure.
This makes it a preferred destination for holidaymakers who want
to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain while having fun
on the beach – all in an exclusive location.
St. Vlas is a more quite resort that will mostly suit couples
and families with children or people who wish to escape from the
noisy resorts, yet within easy reach – only 7 minutes down the
road from the busy resort of Sunny Beach.
There are numerous taxis available with their distinctive yellow
cabs as well as a regular bus service into Sunny Beach that costs
only a few pence.
Sunny Beach
 Sunny Beach is just that, an 8 kilometre stretch of fine white
sand which gently slopes into the warm crystal sea that has been
awarded the International Blue Flag.
The magnificent beach with its authentic sand dunes to the south
and 45 meter average width provides visitors with a huge range
of activities which include quad biking, beach-sports, horse riding
and cycling to name only a few.
The none tidal calm waters of the Black Sea also offer a wealth
of water-sports and activities including Jetski’s, paddle boats,
sailing, paragliding and numerous sun-seeking cruises.
Within the Sunny Beach area there are hundreds of bars, restaurants,
shops and small market stalls, a large number are positioned along
the beach front promenade which stretches virtually the whole
length of the resort. Along this promenade are other activities
to choose from, such as mini golf, beach bars, children’s playgrounds,
street traders and more restaurants.
A mini-train travels up and down the resort every 20 minutes or
so and provides the perfect way to get around. It even goes as
far as Nessebar which is just south of Sunny Beach and is definitely
worth a visit.
Excursions are available from both Sunny Beach and St. Vlas should
you fancy a Jeep Safari, a visit to one of the Aqua Parks, a cruise,
or even take part in a Bingo & Quiz night. It’s all available!
